Advice I Was Given, and By Whom
A member of the Pagan/Wiccan Discussion Forum told me I should cut my ties to any magical workings I do for someone else.
Why They Gave it To Me
I had done a casting for a friend then when the friendship got rocky they used the working I had done for them as the focus to create a hex. I asked her advice on what I could do to protect myself in the future.
Lessons Learned
- Any time you work magic that is not for your own personal use you should always cut your magical ties to it. You never know what the future may bring, how people may change or turn out to be. You may not even know them at all, so protect yourself. All magic 101 books should say this, but I haven't seen one yet.
How This Advice Impacted My Life as a Pagan
I now know one more way to protect myself when doing workings for others, so I am not inhibited by how it may come back to haunt me.
