Oh, this is nifty indeed! Remember back in March, when we talked about Lord Moncrieff of Tullibole Castle in Kinross, Scotland? Well, he was planning at that time to build a maze on his property in honor of those executed for witchcraft by one of his predecessors. Now, the UK Courier has a follow-up on the story, going into more detail about the plans for the memorial. Some 2,000 beech trees have been planted already, to form the walls of the labyrinth. At the center will be an elaborately carved sandstone pillar, featuring the names of the eleven individuals hanged by William Halliday in the seventeenth century. Five more pillars will surround the central one, and include positive words such as justice and truth. At various points in the maze, particularly dead ends, another five pillars will represent negative words like intolerance and supersitition. The maze is not scheduled to open until next year, but visitors to Tullibole Castle can view the work in progress. Follow Pagan/Wiccan on Twitter or Join Me On Facebook.

I know this is like way late but I feel like I have to awsenr this even if you don’t read it. I’m kind of going through the same thought process as you. I believe in everything I’ve read about Wicca a lot more than I’ve ever believed in any other religion. All of the theories and practices just sound completely right and normal. And I have other Wiccan friends who seem to feel the rightness in their path while I don’t and sometimes that makes me a little depressed to see that. But here’s what I’ve come up with, maybe the way all that I’ve read makes so much sense to me is that feeling of knowing that this is the path for me. I already believe in it with all my heart how could it not be right for me then. At least that’s what I think. I hope this helps. Blessed Be. Oh and visit my website sometime. There’s not very much information on it yet but there will be soon. circleofthedragon.yolasite.com []
