Wow Patti that is so bright of an orange. I’ve had all different colored sunflowers except that LoL
It sure is. And beautiful. So fun to grow.
WHO DOESN’T LOVE SUNFLOWERS? I have several – - probably at least 10 plants, of a smaller variety, that started growing in late June, and have almost over-taken the garden. I love to watch the bees work on them….and then the little yellow birds who arrive in July – - who love the way the seeds taste. Sunflowers have such loving energy – and they’re so friendly…I could not exist without my tall, yellow, billowy friends…I look forward to them every year!

I had to look twice…it almost doesn’t look real. What a fab color!
There’s something surreal about this sunflower. Maybe it’s the color?
Yeah, I didn’t even know they came in this color. I planted about eight, and all the others are the traditional sunny yellow. This one is the only one which came out this odd rusty orange shade!

That’s beautiful! I could use a painting of a sunflower because the critters ate all of mine. It’s one thing they just won’t let me grow (except for the seeds that fall from the bird feeder – those the critters won’t eat).
