My first physical BOS
- I have been following the Craft for nearly ten years, but am far from an organised person. I kept information and spells in dribs and drabs on my computer and several pieces of paper. Now, however, I have covered a recipe folder with some fabric and spent time sewing in the title and a pentacle (and will probably add more decoration over time). It ties shut and has a ribbon bookmark. I have only been using it a short while, but it is so nice to collate everything properly. It feels much more personal and helps to remind me why I first started following these traditions. I have been keeping a grimoire purely for spells, but it is nice to have all the other information collected and organised.

- My first book of shadows is a hand bound book with parchment paper and a leather cover, it had the triple moons on it and a lock. It's really amazing and personal because I made it.

My BOS Plans
- I am nearly 15 and just about to start my first BOS. It will be a 3 ring binder (of course, cause I have no clue how this will work out), but to make it extra special, I will wrap the cover in leather (have been playing around with leather for a while now) and stamp the words "Book of Shadows" and a pentacle on the front cover. I will have only a short consecration ritual,which I will have a transcript of on the very first page (to secure its purpose). After that I will have a title page, my initiation ritual, my personal code of ethics, the wiccan rede, the draconic mages code of honour, info about deities, calendar, lore and myth and my spells. (Not sure on the order yet) I will try to hand-write it all (will feel more personal).

- My book of shadows is a small leather book with metal corner protecters. It was once a blank book that I received as a gift and now its being filled with my beliefs and rituals.

My BOS To be..
- Hi, I'm still new to the pagan path and must still start my BOS. I'm a perfectionist tho, which has held me back from actually starting. But I bought a nice black hard cover sketchbook with parchment like paper today (the shop didn't have a binder that I liked...) and plan to start tonight. Thanks for all the ideas and inspiration!

- I got my BoS as a gift for my family's "Christmas". It is a Wooden book with a triquetra on the front, inside of the Triple Moon. It has metal hinges, and beautiful parchment pages. I feel so fortunate to have received it!

My BOS
- My BOS is 3 notebooks. The first is my rituals, spells, etc that are very much of my beliefs. The second and third are research on every topic from recipes to herbology to tarot and any other topics that I have either found myself or friends have generously allowed me to copy and save. Seems just one notebook is not enough to hold everything. And since my hands are not the best anymore, my BOS is typed and copied from my computer but when I get enough time to, I add designs and pictures and even change fonts and colors to make it personal.

- I originally had a composition notebook, but about a year and a half ago that became full and I started my current 3-ring binder. There is information on my beliefs,rede,goals/powers of witch, new thought info., a "genesis" story, then deities, how i view Spirit, spirit guides,angels,fey, death/afterlife/reincarnation, karma, affirmations,law of attraction,moon,symbols,alphabets,sigils,sachets,runes,cleansing/consecrating, chakras,anxiety/depression coping, vitamins/health,wheel of year,circle casting,chants,sacred places,meditations,prayer,spells/rituals,personal astrology and info. I also have a journal for thoughts,random snippets,and info. i want to include in my big bos but have to write out so i can organize it. I also have a journal for tarot/oracle readings and another scrapbooky one for herbs. My binder bos is simple and typed, but has decorative title/chapter pages and covers. It serves it's purpose nicely and I enjoy being able to reorganize it and add things in wherever

Book of Shadows
- My BOS is a collection of school excercise books glued together by their back covers and split into volumes but kept wrapped in an altar cloth and not seen by anyone but me. Usual things, spells rituals sabbats and records of omens dreams and herbal and Ogham lore. Nothing looks remarkable about it and I just write in any biro I have to mind. I do not do ornate decor or any special binding but that is just my way, simplicity works for me. I will pass this to my one grandson who has taken some interest in his grandfather's wiccan practice as I would like this to stay through the generations of my family.

- I had started off using a small journal then I realized it wasn't enough for me. So I have a 2 inch 3 ring binder. I also ghave all my info On a cd that is formatted like a USB card. So I cn add and edit at will.

My Bos
- I was raised very Christian but at 16, 2 years ago I accidentally came across a Wiccan book in the library and one thing led to another. I am believer in one god. But I believe in nature as well so I've made my Bos out a leather bound book I was given, it has a small cross on the cover and my name imprinted rigt below it. My two religions do peacefully coexist and most people don't under stand that it is most definiatley accepted by the Wiccan culture. My coven knows fully well of my bi religionous and accept it.

- Mine is a binder. I have tabbed dividers and print all of my pages. Mostly becauseI was writeing but I have the wolrds worst hand writeing so I wane the a more techsavy approacy. plus I'v ben callying my self a Cyber Witch because Of how muc I connect with techie stuff.
