Advice I Was Given, and By Whom

In our family unit, talking about our spiritual thoughts was easy, especially with the aunts. They told me to always keep a bit of mystery about me & never tell anyone everything. In this day and age it's more popular to be open & forth sharing, however when you come from a magical place inside of you, you needn't label yourself to anyone. Most of the time if I said I was anything at all,it was always Spirtiual or Spiritualist. If people ask if you are a christian,(fundamentalists did this now and then) I'd answer, I most definitely believe in GOD.

Why They Gave it To Me

They knew what path I'd take and however safe it was at home, strangers have their own beliefs and predjuidices. Be a Magical person of good intentions, this will speak for you. Have faith in acceptance by all but don't strive for it. The Aunts knew that I would run the same blocks that they did,e many years ago. They neve told me it would be sunshine and rainbows all along the way, they knew in a strong christian world where we lived, I would most ceertainly get wounds along the way. They neither painted a pretty picture nor painted a dark one. They knew in a balanced life their must be both.

Lessons Learned

  • I learned that sometimes a bit of mystery is better
  • people will believe what they can most easily emotionally digest.
  • Be a person of kind actions and give magical people a good reputation. Even though it will take a very long time.
  • Be true to yourself=always by all means
