What I Made
Uniquely detailed dollhouse sized cabinets. Many with a Pagan or Mystical theme.
What Inspired Me
Healing magik, that is the best description of these special creations.
Two years ago, I saw something and said "I could do something like that" and tucked it away in the back of my head. Later that year, I decided to create four little cabinets for four special friends (each a witch, but each unique and very dear to me)...the magik is because I have very little fine motor control. Each of the original four recipients knew about my hand tremors from heavy metal poisoning and they treasured the thought that I had made a kabinet for each of them.
I made a few additional kabinets as gifts, then earlier this year, one of the original recipients encouraged me to make the kabinets to sell. They debuted at the Long Beach Women's Spirit Summer Solstice Fair 2010. As I continue to make these kabinets, my fine motor skills continue to improve and while healing myself, I bring a bit of magik to others.
Each one of a kind Magikal Kabinet is named and signed on the back.
They are now available at The Green Man Store in North Hollywood, and appeared at several Pagan Pride events in Southern California in September 2010. After attending the Bakersfield Pagan Pride event, there are a few on consignment at Jackie's Magical Treasures there.

Tips and Tricks
- toothpicks make nice taper candles
- beads are made into bottles
- dowel end caps are wonderful cauldrons
- mixing paint colors and textures gives interesting finishes
