What's On My Altar
I made kind of a makeshift taper candle holder out of my small Imbolc wreath and my goddess statue. I think it works very nicely to hold my red candle. I also have a white votive candle. I have leaves and red flower petals from a flower arrangement my daughter got last Valentines day. There is also a rock my daughter painted, shells and crystals which are all on my alter nearly year round.
How I Celebrated Imbolc
We celebrate alone as a family, just the 4 of us. I think this year we will do the Imbolc candle ritual featured on this website. As we do for every Sabbat, we will have a big dinner after the ritual. We usually make a hearty vegetable chili for the Sabbats in the dark side of the year.
Tips and Tricks
- Red and white are the usual colors for an Imbolc altar, but don't be afraid to use whatever color is significant to the season or sabbat for you.
