Description
As a group we embrace all Pagan beliefs. While our meetings will be centralized in Columbus, MS, we extend invitations to all surrounding communities for open circles on Sabbats, classes, and celebrations of esbats each month. We offer clergy services for handfastings, Wiccanings, and other rituals.
Mission
The Purpose of the Assembly of the Elder Oak is to first and foremost serve and worship the God and Goddess, to honor every living thing and the seasons as the Wheel of Life turns, and to promote spirituality for all members and seekers. As a coven, the AEO seeks to enrich ourselves and those with whom we interact through education, fellowship, companionship, and camarderie. We visualize an improved future by promoting our belief system within the communities around us and by helping others to better accept and understand the many and varied Pagan paths. Our coven holds open rituals, celebrations of esbats, classes for beginning and advanced seekers, and other gatherings for edification of each participant and the coven as a whole.
