About My Tattoo
Its a pentagram with the triple goddess symbol in the middle of the star. Got the idea from a pentagram necklace I own that originally has a star in the middle of the bigger star. I have my sons Ryan and Donald's names on there, my wiccan sister/BFF Amber on there, my husband (his nickname), Cowboy, on there, and my wiccan name, Moonstar, on there. The circles in the points of the star are colored red to symbolize the July birthstone which is my birthmonth.
Why I Chose It
I chose this design for my first tattoo because I wanted it to mean something to me. I wanted to dedicate it to the things and people who mean the most to me. My sons who are my life, my husband who took me a lifetime to find and I finally found him after a lot of searching, he is my life mate, my soul mate, my Wiccan sister and BFF because she has been the only true friend I have ever had in my life outside family, my wiccan name, and the Triple Goddess because of Maiden, Mother and Crone and I am daughter of the Goddess and I dedicate my life to Her and the Wiccan way.
Tips and Tricks
- After you first get your tattoo put baby lotion on tattoo for the first week at least 2-3 times a day
- no swimming for two weeks and keep tattoo out of direct sunlight for two weeks
- research your tattoo parlors and make sure they are professionals and that they are clean and sanitary
- MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT AND WHERE YOU WANT YOUR TATTOO!!!! REMEMBER...ITS PERMANENT!!!!
- As far as pain goes, it differs for everyone and it depends on where you get it. It will hurt a little more if you get it on the areas where there is more bone than muscle.
