4 - Fire: The Ultimate Destroyer

This spread turned up a reversed 4 - Emperor in the Fire position.

The fourth card in this reading is the element of Fire, which embodies strong will and energy. Fire can both create and destroy -- is the Querent subconsciously sabotaging their own goals? What sort of internal conflicts are at play here? This is the card which shows the Querent's self-doubts and misapprehensions.

Willow's fourth card, in the Fire position, was a reversed 4 - the Emperor. This card in a reversed position indicates an inability to separate from parents or family, and some degree of emotional immaturity. Willow acknowledged that her own fears of leaving the familiarity of her old group were probably causing her to subconsciously second-guess herself in the decision-making process.
