Make these festive pentacle pumpkins to celebrate Samhain. You’ll need:

  • Pumpkins
  • Painter’s tape
  • Spray paint in your choice of colors

Use the painter’s tape to mark off the area of the pumpkin you don’t want to paint. Making the circle around the pentacle with tape can be a little tricky, so the best way to do it is to draw a circle first, with a pencil. Then use the tape, in small pieces, to go over your drawn circle. Add the straight lines for the star in the center.

Spray the pumpkin with the spray paint of your choice. Allow it to dry for several hours before removing the tape.

Also, remember you can use this method to create any design you like - if you’ve got problem neighbors, why not do some protective sigils or runes to keep negative energy at bay?

Helpful tip: Use the styrofoam or plastic pumpkins available at most craft stores instead of the real thing, and you’ll have a pentacle pumpkin you can display for Samhain year after year!
