Helene's Imbolc Altar

Blog reader Helene from North Carolina keeps her altar simple. She says:

The altar for Imbolc is a simple one. A silver altar cloth for the goddess, a lush white flower arrangement with plenty of greenery to symbolize the earth beginning to waken again from it's winter slumber. A white candle for the Goddess and one for the God flank a chalice of wine and a bowl of blackberries, a fruit sacred to Brighid. The Goddess image candleholder reminds me a lot of Brighid, holding the sacred flame. A green cloth representing Brighid's mantle is draped across the altar.
