Sigil

Definition:

A sigil is a magical symbol that represents a concept or tangible item like a person or place. A Pagan or Wiccan may inscribe a candle, talisman or amulet (or anything else) with a sigil that means health, prosperity, protection, love, etc. Sigils can be created by hand or obtained from other sources.

Pronunciation: SIJ-il
Also Known As: Symbol, Glyph
Examples:
Willow created a healing sigil which she then inscribed upon a candle.
