Magick

By Patti Wigington, About.com

Definition:

In reading about Wicca and Paganism, it’s not uncommon to see the word magic spelled with a “k” on the end. This is a variant spelling used by modern Pagans to differentiate their spellwork and ritual from the pull-a-rabbit-out-of-a-hat variety of magic. Originally used by Aleister Crowley and the Order of the Golden Dawn, the magick-with-a-k is sometimes used to mean ceremonial or high magic as opposed to practical magic. On this website, we simply use the word magic without the k on the end.

Examples:
Willow and the Three Circles Coven designated part of their esbat as a time to perform healing magick.
