Many Wiccans and Pagans pride themselves on their knowledge of herbs, which can be used in many different contexts. Every herb has medicinal and magical properties of some sort. Because some herbs are toxic, it's very important never to ingest plants unless you know exactly what they are. It's a good idea to keep information on herbal and plant lore in your Book of Shadows.
