Wrapping It All Up

Have your child wear the talisman whenever he knows he'll be in a situation that might cause anxiety. Some good times to wear it:

  • First day of school
  • The day of the big math test
  • When meeting new people
  • Learning a new skill, like skateboarding or bike riding
  • When going somewhere without mom and dad, like on a camping trip or to an amusement park
  • Some children like to wear their talisman all the time, and if your child does, that's fine -- it becomes more charged with energy every time they wear it. If they only wish to use it on special occasions, it should be stored in a special place so it can easily be found when needed. If it's been a while since it was worn, you can give your child's talisman a quick "boost" by infusing energy into the stone to provide self-confidence to the wearer.

Remind your child that if he feels his courage waning, all he has to do is rub the stone, and that will help remind him of the love and energy the two of you put into his talisman, and he will be able to feel the power and strength of his inner Simba.
