Blair Drawson: "Witches in the Kitchen".

Blog reader Tasha T. recommends this one, and says, "It's a very charming book, filled with wonderful colored illustrations. The book basically follows the day to day life of a "junior witch" as she celebrates the Sabbats with her aunts. The book teaches children about Books of Shadows, Familiars, Sabbats, and many other things about Wicca, and family. I love the book, and recommend it for children under the age of 10."

Reader Kathy Kestner says, "For the ages 5th grade through 8th, Ludo and the Star Horse by Mary Stewart is a wonderful book. I didn't find it until I was almost 30 and I still loved the story. The story explores the Zodiac as well as the theme of loved ones passing on. This is the same Mary Stewart who wrote the Merlin series."

Rose Welsh recommends an entire list of Pagan-friendly kids' books:
