Hayley's Beltane Altar

Reader Hayley set up a simple Beltane altar and says, "This is after my ritual. I have a picture of the Goddess as the Maiden with her lover the God in recognition of their sacred unity. I used five different colored ribbons on my maypole, under which is sealed a slip of paper where I wrote five things I wish to grow in myself. The candle represents fire and air, and the bowl is full of salt and water for water and earth."
