Imbolc is just around the corner, and if you're like me, you probably enjoy decorating your home to celebrate the Sabbat. I also like to make stuff of my own, so I've got all kinds of Imbolc-related projects going on right now. Here are a few ideas -- and if you're one of the folks who might get snowed in this weekend, these are some great ways to keep busy.

Is anyone here a fan of Doctor Who?

I don’t remember where I read this, but I think I read that fish was one of the traditional foods eaten at Imbolc because meat of other kinds was so scarce. Aside from that, dairy foods of all kinds are appropriate during this sabbat, including custard. So, for those who are familiar with the most recent incarnation of Doctor Who, I finally have an excuse to try fish fingers and custard! I thought that was a fun little crossover between pop and spiritual culture, so I decided to share it.
