The junk drawer is just a fabulous repository for mundane-turned magical items, isn’t it? Everyone has one. The drawer you toss the old keys, extra thread, the old kitchen shears, the extra screw that didn’t fit anywhere in the Ikea bookshelf, bits of paper, business cards…. For me, that entire drawer is just magic waiting to happen!
