For many of us, magic is a practice that involves using things you already have on hand. Rather than running out and spending a fortune on "supplies," you can find ways to use non-magical items in a magical manner. The junk drawer is just a fabulous repository for mundane-turned magical items, isn’t it? Everyone has one. The drawer you toss the old keys, extra thread, the old kitchen shears, the extra screw that didn’t fit anywhere in the Ikea bookshelf, bits of paper, business cards…. For me, that entire drawer is just magic waiting to happen!
