I'm one of those people who doesn't really count an event as a celebration until the food comes out -- I'm all about keeping a well-stocked table, and feeding anyone who comes within fifty yards of my house at just about any given time. I also try to plan my Sabbat menus a bit, so that the food I'm preparing and eating ties in a little bit, on a seasonal level, to whatever agricultural marker it is that I'm celebrating. So, Northern Hemisphere readers, what's on the menu for your Imbolc celebration? If you're not sure what to cook, try one of these ideas to get you started!

I’ve been trying my hand at soups made with cream the last few months (think Cream of Pumpkin,) so I’m thinking a nice corn chowder or other cream-based soup will be on the menu. I’ll be spending the day making candles for my altar so a nice soup in the crockpot is a warm & simple reward after all the work!
