Samhain Countdown: Honoring the Animals

Do you live in the Northern Hemisphere? If you do, Samhain is just a few days away. Why not mark the season with a ritual honoring animals? Our relationship with animals goes back thousands and thousands of years. They have been a source of food and clothing, they have protected us from the things that lurk in the darkness, and they have provided comfort, companionship and warmth. If you have animals in your life -- pets, livestock, or free critters that roam around your property -- this is their night.
