Samhain Countdown: Make an Apple Garland

I took the kids out apple-picking last weekend, so now I have something like two bushels of apples that have to be peeled, sliced, cooked and preserved before they turn bad. The nice thing is that apples are versatile, and you can use them in craft projects as well as recipes. This one is super-easy to make, and all you need is some florist's wire, a few bay leaves, and a handful of apples. Better still, it makes your house smell delicious! Make an Apple Garland
