Since so many members of the Pagan community work as solitaries, and may never come into contact with other Pagans during their lifetime, one issue that comes up as our population ages is that of what to do with magical tools and other items after death. After all, if we have no one magical in our lives to leave these things to, what becomes of them?
Here are some tips on how to make sure your magical stuff ends up in a good home once you're gone, instead of stuffed in a box in someone's garage sale: What to Do With Magical Items After Your Death?

I am so glad you addressed this. We have to plan ahead to assure respect for our blessed treasures. So few people really understand how important they are. Thank you so much Patti.
This is a very important topic to bring up. I am the only “active” pagan in our home, but my husband knows how important it is to me. I never had a daughter of my own and I have always wanted one to pass my witchy stuff down to. Well, now I have a beautiful step-daughter and she is expressing an interest in paganism. I told my husband that I want most of my things, including my BOS, to go to her. My son, who is Buddhist, can pick what he likes, too!
I have plans to leave different Items with different people. Those people can then help others out who need it by having extra reference materials or if they already have the same one they can give to new people who need them.
