It's become a chore even to go to our regular meetings, and I'm not connecting to the gods of our tradition or any of the people in the group. I'm seriously considering leaving and practicing as a solitary for a while. Any tips?"
Absolutely. First of all, before you decide to leave for certain, I'd talk things over with group leaders. It sounds like maybe you've stagnated a bit - and if other members are feeling the same way, this is a good opportunity for the High Priestess or High Priest to make some changes. If, on the other hand, you discuss it with the group leaders and everyone agrees that this group just isn't a good fit for you, then it may indeed be time to move on. How wonderful I’d find this exactly now! I’m part of a coven but I can feel no power, no connection with the gods when I’m with them. The circle we cast together feels no different than, I don’t know, standing in my bedroom. But I just recently noticed that when I cast a circle on my own, it is different. I can talk to the gods and feel they answer me. So I just decided to leave the coven, once I feel they’re holding me back and leading me nowhere, and I open my e-mail box to find a link to this page.
