So I've recently upgraded to a phone with the Android Operating System, which I love because it's very logic-based and intuitive. I was noodling around in the Android Market, and stumbled across a neat freebie app -- it's the PaganCalendar App, which features dates for a variety of traditions. Users can download the app for free onto their Droid phones, customize it based on time zone and hemisphere, and then view event dates. They're divided into categories, such as Heathen, Births and Deaths, Roman, Celtic, First Nation, Fire Festivals, and more. You can also select All, and get all your dates together on one list. If you've got a Droid phone, check it out - it's well done, simple, and easy to use. To locate it, just go to the Android Market on your phone, and type in "Pagan" in the search bar.
Meanwhile, if you don't have a Droid phone and can't get Android Apps, don't worry -- our 2011 Pagan/Wiccan calendar is up and running!

Isn’t it great! I d/l it as soon as I got my phone last month.
I hope your holiday has been blessed!
Got my Android (in October)and tried this app. It’s pretty good but needs a better interface and a little more but it’s a good start. There is also another app on the market called ‘Magic’ that has a smattering of occult/pagan offerings like a grimoire to which users can contribute among other things. Hope we see more of these sorts of things in the market. Phones with the Andoid OS rock and having pagan apps on them will make them rock even more.
Just as a minor nitpick: Droid is a registered trademark associated only with a few specific Android models being sold on Verizon’s service. All the major postpaid wireless providers have Android phones, but they’re not all Droids.
Just downloaded this one on my Droid after I saw your post.
Not all apps available on the Android system work the same with all Android phones, so I’m glad to hear that you already tried it out with the Motorola Droid before downloading. This might help me to be more organized in the new year!! (no promises. ;p)
That’s wonderful! I was sad that Google calendar didn’t have an add on. Glad to see there’s some calendars popping up in the market.
