Isaac Bonewits recently announced on his Facebook fan page that he has been diagnosed with colon cancer. Apparently, it's a fairly rare form of the disease which responds well to chemo and radiation, which means he may not have to face surgery.
Isaac is the founder of Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF), a Druidic tradition, and is the author of a number of books on contemporary Pagan practice. He and wife Phaedra are also well-known on the Pagan lecture circuit. Please join me in sending well-wishes and prayers to both of them, and hopefully we'll soon see Isaac in full recovery!

Also, please remember that cancer treatment ain’t cheap. I am sure that, if you wish (and are able) to send money, the Bonewitses will not complain. I’m given to understand that they’ve been hard up for a while.

Thanks for mentioning my situation. I’m responding well to the chemo and radiation, not to mention the thousands of people sending me healing energies. My doctors are very optimistic and so am I about a full recovery.
It is getting expensive, though, as was mentioned. We very much appreciate the people who have been helping out financially, as we were behind on medical bills before this latest adventure started.
