Alan Burnett of Herald Scotland chronicles his search for Janet Horne, a Scottish woman who is the subject of a new play entitled The Last Witch. Horne was the last person to be executed for witchcraft in Scotland, and Burnett explores the story of the real Janet Horne, comparing it to the one told in the play. It's a nicely done piece, weaving Scottish history with the contemporary viewpoint of what witchcraft really is.
