Potter Exhibition Coming to Chicago
Monday January 5, 2009
Live near Chicago, or plan to visit this summer? Then you're in for a treat. The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry is hosting a Harry Potter Exhibition, which will run from April 30 to September 7. According to the official website, the exhibit will allow guests to "get an up close and personal look at the artistry and craftsmanship" of the Harry Potter films. You'll be able visit Hagrid's hut and the Gryffindor common room. It looks like tickets will set you back between $19 and $26, depending on your age and whether or not you're visiting other exhibits on the same day, but that seems pretty reasonable.
My impression is that the exhibition will be visiting other cities after it leaves Chicago, but they haven't announced specific locations or dates yet. Someone let Lucius Malfoy know he's welcome to be my escort when the exhibit visits my city!
