A reader writes in with an interesting request. "I have been searching for a few years now trying to find a story I once saw, and was hoping that maybe you and the community could help me. It was a coming of age story where the goddess in Maiden, mother, and crone incarnations visits a woman throughout her life explaining each stage to her (just before first period, childbearing age, and menopause) and the gift that comes with each stage. I was once told it “might” be from Starhawk, but I have never been able to find it."
While it sounds vaguely familiar to me, I can't quite pinpoint a source off the top of my head. Are any of you familiar with this story, and where it might be found?

In trying to research where that story might be I ran across this women’s website and thought many of you might be interested. http://www.womanwisdom.com/ I sent them an email asking if they recognize the story so I will post if and when I get an answer
The story seems based around the Triple Goddess.
I found the book Circle Round: Raising Children in Goddess Traditions by Starhawk at Amazon. I’d read the reviews on it though.
I got an answer back from someone at that website. She said she doesn’t know that story but would like a copy or link when we find it. I would like to ask whoever sent in the question – Are you sure it was an actual story and not just a telling of some traditions associated with goddess cultures? I have heard that there are traditions people carry out that match what you remember as a story. Perhaps someone was telling of things that had happened in their coven or something.

Try and contact somebody here (last address I have). They always sent me the best things, much from very old sources. The reprints they sent out were obscure and OUTSTANDING – things I would never find access to, including whole books. I kept everything they sent — that good.
