Palm Coast Case: Claims are "Unfounded"

Friday September 26, 2008
A Palm Coast, Florida, woman's claims that she was kidnapped and beaten in a bizarre web of Voodoo, Santeria, Satanism and drugs are being called "unfounded" by local authorities. Police have concluded their investigation, in part because they say the woman's statements are "similar to past reports that were deemed to have been fraudulent." It seems there were also a number of inconsistencies in the story, and a lack of evidence indicating that the crime had actually taken place.

Told Ya’. Too many things were wrong with her story. I think the woman needs to seek professional help. She could have gotten some people into trouble with her accusations. I hope she finds the help she needs before she harms herself or someone else.

Sounds like she has some unconfronted emotional/mental issues. Instead of sending her to jail for fraudulent claims (as they certainly could) they should sentence her to mandatory counseling and therapy.
