Woman Claims Voodoo/Santeria/Occult Kidnapping

Thursday September 25, 2008
It's all quite muddled, really, so I'll let you draw your own conclusions. In a bizarre case out of Palm Coast, Florida, a woman says that she was kidnapped and beaten by an occult group she was once part of. The 41-year old woman was found on the side of the road the other night, and says she was abducted by six members of a Santeria group, and then forced to participate in the calling of the spirits for an Autumn Equinox ritual. There's also something in there about Voodoo, a blonde woman named "Sky," some devil worship and threats of violence against a teenager, but it's a bit confusing as to who in the story is actually practicing what.

All that seems to be really clear is that the victim was in fact once a member of a Santeria group, and that she was at some point the victim of violence. I do hope they find whoever did this to her, but first they'll have to sort out the whole "Satanic/Santeria/drug party/sacrifice/ritual" thing.

I’m sorry, but if all of that were true(which I really doubt)why didn’t her sister call the police if she heard that on the phone? Plus, I worked in a hospital for a long time, if someone comes in with knife wounds, you have to call the police to file a report. There are just too many things that don’t make sense in this story. I want to see the CSI evidence..
