Oberon Zell-Ravenheart Being Treated for Cancer

Over at the Wild Hunt blog, Jason Pitzl-Waters announced that Oberon Zell-Ravenheart has been diagnosed with cancer. A golfball-sized tumor was discovered during a routine colonoscopy, and tests are being done to determine whether or not the cancer has spread.
Oberon is the author of the groundbreaking essay We Are the Other People, as well as several books on Paganism and polyamory. He and wife Morning Glory are the founders of the Church of All Worlds and the Grey School of Wizardry. The CAW is calling for healing energy to be sent, and is in the process of coordinating a "rolling thunder" healing ritual -- if you've never heard of this, check out the information on their website, it's pretty awesome. In the meantime, please keep Oberon in your thoughts and prayers, as his family waits to hear about the extent of his illness.

i hope that every thing works out for this beautiful family no one should ever have to go threw any thing so awful. i do know what its like to have to wait for the information but i do also know that u should live each day never giving up never giving in. i just hope all the Gods of every world n religon help u.

I’ve had to deal with cancer (although I had Hodgkin’s) myself, so my thoughts are with Oberon and his family.
Headmaster Oberon is such an inspiration to those of us at the Grey School of Wizardry. We are all sending him our best healing energy and thoughts and I know he will appreciate all the assistance that can be sent his way.
If anyone will beat it, he will!

Me hubby had one the size of a grapefruit and after 7 1/2 hrs of surgery and Chemo and Radiation it seems all gone now….hope all goes well.
I will send good vibes their way! Cancer can be so devastating, even when you survive. I’ll pray the Lord and Lady give them strength and comfort.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Oberon at Starwood 1992. I found him to be a sweet, intelligent, and sincere man. I hope that he will find hope, healing and health as he goes through this trying time. Brightest Blessings to you!
I just met Oberon for the first time today in a ritual during the Pagan Unity Festival here in Modesto, California and I have to say he is a very kind, good natured, intelligent man who deserves health and admiration.
