LOLCats: Oh Hai, It's teh Rede

Tuesday June 10, 2008
I have a secret confession to make: I think LOLCats are hilarious. There's nothing better to lighten up an Internet conversation than one strategically placed, cleverly-captioned cat macro. If you're unfamiliar with what an LOLCat is, it's basically a photo of a cat, with a silly caption placed on top of it -- and spelled as if your cat was working on your computer. Popular lines that repeat regularly include "Oh hai!", "I can haz cheeseburger?" and "I is in ur laptop, deletin ur files." You get the drift, I'm sure.

And now, over LiveJournal world, a blogger named EliseM has re-written the Wiccan Rede, in LOLCat-speak. It's simply brilliant.

I think she’s also done the Nine Noble Virtues in LOLCat, but I’ll have to hunt around for that link. It’s equally hilarious.

That was cute…If my cats could speak human ( and I don’t doubt that they can, they just don’t let us know) that’s exactly how they would sound..
