Free Wheel of the Year Calendar Available
Monday May 12, 2008
Thanks to Rain for the heads-up on this one: The Four Quarters online store is offering free copies of their Wheel of the Year calendars. I haven't seen the 2008 edition yet, but previous years' offerings have always been very high quality and full of useful information -- it's more like a magazine than a typical calendar. There's a limited number available, so if you want one, order it soon!
Four Quarters has been slammed with orders, so they've asked me to let everyone know that although this is a free item, donations to them as a non-profit church are highly appreciated to cover postage. Info on how to donate is at the bottom of their order page - also, given the popularity of these free goodies, they are going to try to get a PDF made from the master files for online download.

Thanks for the info on this Patti (and Rain)!
I just signed up!
So, this is why my inbox is being flooded with orders.. thank you Patti. We love making our community contribution that is the desk calendar and event magazine, and this year we went all out for some full color pages inside. There are plenty of them to go around so no limited quantities.. people can also find them in their local pagan-friendly shops on the east coast from NC to NY.
We have a summer full of large events, could we get some of them on your calendar listing?
Glad to hear you’ve got lots of copies available — I’ve gotten these before and they’re full of great information. If you have big events coming up, just shoot me an email and I’ll add them to my calendar. Thanks for all you do!

Is this offer just for the States or can us pagans in Canada partake?
Canada is fine, please limit to 2 copies. I’ve gotten a few Europe requests, for those as they are expensive ($5 to $6) we cannot ship for free. Please send us a donation in your order from the product list in the online shop (specify your own amount). Any donations are appreciated, the US first-class averages $2. Four Quarters is a registered non-profit church.
Wow — I got my calendars today, just two days after I put in my order. They are AWESOME, guys.

[Edited by Patti on May 23, 2008 @ 1035 am: I've removed your personal information because it's just not a good idea to post that on the Internet. Also, if you want a copy of the calendar, it doesn't come from me, but from Four Quarters at the link provided

I clicked on the link for the Four Quarters website and it said the product was not found. Are there any more or have I missed out?!
Shawna, I looked too and I’m wondering if maybe they’ve run out. I’m hoping they’ll stop back by here and let us know. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to get one, they do make them available every year.

Hi readers + Patti,
We have been slammed yesterday with 200+ orders, someone must have posted the link to this page on a forum.. we honestly cannot fulfill all these orders at this time and have shut down the calendar cart item. We thought we were being bot-spammed, there were so many. Our normal traffic is about 3 a week!
Given the popularity we will try to get a PDF made from the master files for online download.
Patti could you please alter the article to include something like “donations to 4Q as a non-profit church are highly appreciated to cover postage, thanks”? I also have notes in the item description, but so far noone has donated.
PDF sounds like a good idea to me. i was finally able to go to your site, and it looks amazing. i am bookmarking it for future reference!
Do you (meaning Four Quarters) accept money orders for donations? I don’t have a credit card or PayPal but I can send a money order; I’d like the PDF for the order form, also, when that’s available.
Desiree,
we certainly do, our address is on the bottom of our homepage.

Well with the huge amount of orders I could mail in a batch, we’ve talked with the PO and we can use our non-profit mailing discount, so I will reopen the individual calendar requests. ONE calendar per household, and no Handbooks. International requests cannot be put in this mailing. I’ll leave 4 days to get in on this mailing before I need to restrict requests again – I should have a downloadable PDF available. Also, requests for bulk packs need to stay within the east coast area.
Thanks!
Ok, our cost-saving batch will go out next week for everyone waiting..
And!
Digital download of the Calendar is now available, nice quality and with the color sections! Get it here:

You’re welcome everyone, now anyone in the world can see the calendar for free. Print copies can still be requested for those in the eastern US at this time.
The pdf page isn’t working. I just tried it on two different browsers. The page stays blank.
