Religious Discrimination in Prisons Briefing Available Online
Tuesday May 6, 2008
Back in February, the United States Civil Rights Commission met to discuss religious discrimination in our country's prisons. Guest panelists included a wide range of religious leaders, including Wiccan chaplain Patrick McCollum of Circle Sanctuary. You can now read the transcript of the entire briefing online here: Religious Discrimination in Prisons. Don't let the word "briefing" fool you, though; there's nothing brief about this 162-page pdf document. However, if you've got the time, it's definitely got some interesting little nuggets in there.
