On Coming of Age as a Pagan

Saturday May 3, 2008
Coming of age. It has a neat ring to it, don't you think? It signifies something important: that you're no longer a child, but now a man or woman who is a valued member of society. You become more than just an individual; you belong to a greater community. In many Pagan traditions, people are starting to recognize that and celebrate it in their young people. The New Statesman has an excellent piece about coming of age as a Pagan, in which author Lady Springwolf looks at coming of age as a confirmation of faith. Definitely an interesting read, and something well worth considering.
